Extraordinary Culinary ExperiencesOffre publiée le : 17-02-2012Nobu to Host Ultimate Luxury “Foodie” Cruise Crystal Cruises, the much awarded ultra-luxe cruise line, will enhance its culinary offering through a number of new and exciting experiences this year. Master Chef Nobu Matsuhisa will travel aboard Crystal Serenity on the “Bordeaux and Beyond” cruise which departs from London/Dover on May 24th. He will be in attendance daily at his on-board Silk Road and Sushi Bar, where he will personally prepare dishes and mingle with guests during a 12-day western European/Mediterranean voyage. In addition to making nightly appearances, Nobu will oversee a special “Omakase” dinner, with sake and sake champagne pairings chosen by Sake Master, Fumio Hazu. There will also be a hands-on cooking class in Crystal’s kitchen for 10-12 guests as well as a cooking demonstration for all guests. Another famous chef, Heinz Beck, of Rome’s three Michelin Star La Pergola, will team up with Mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim, and Master Sommelier Bob Bath to host tastings and demonstrations during the wine and food-themed cruise. The cruise starts at Dover, travelling to Bordeaux/Bassens (overnight), Lisbon, Gibraltar, Monte Carlo (overnight), Florence/Livorno, Porto Venere, and Rome/Civitavecchia. Fares for the 12-day cruise start at US$3,955/person for double occupancy, including US$1,000/person in “Book Now” savings (until February 28th).
